Other Activities

The Zdeněk Bakala Foundation also supports several projects related to education, culture, and health care. The Foundation has sponsored, for example, International Conference of Oral History IOHA in Prague; “On the Way to the Parliament", a student debate competition; the renovation of organ in the Church of the Savior (Kostel U Salvatora) in Prague; the construction of the PORG school building in Ostrava; the purchase for the hospital Na Homolce of a modern device for the diagnosis of lung diseases; and the creation of the think tank IDEA – just to name a few.
