Study plans

Please provide a personal statement in English in which you (i) indicate all schools to which you intend to apply, including the reasons which led you to this selection, (ii) specify the subject matter of your future studies, and (iii) explain how studying abroard – as opposed to studying at a Czech university – will contribute to your future plans. Please also briefly describe your plans if you do not win the scholarship and specify which other scholarships you are considering applying for.

Personal essay

Please write an essay in English of a maximum of 1000 words on one of the topics indicated in Section ESSAYS of our website. The essay must be writen solely by yourself and should not be reviewed by another person.

Recommendation

All applicants should provide a letter of recommendation from a current professor or another person who has made a significant contribution to the development of the applicant's talents. In the space below, please indicate the name and position of the person(s) who will be providing the letter of recommendation for you. The letter should be sent by the person writing it directly to this email address: recommendation2012@nadacezb.cz. The letter must contain the sender's contact details. For more information regarding the format and content of the letter, please refer to FAQ.

Family

In the form of an affidavit, please provide the annual net income of your family and the profession of both parents.

Student Expense Budget

Please attach a cost prediction for each university you intend to apply to. Use the format stipulated in Section UNIVERSITIES/FINANCIAL AID of our website. Please indicate the minimum and the maximum amount of the financial aid you believe you may need from the foundation and the type of costs these sums are for (e.g. tuition plus accomodation plus travel costs).
